KONSTANTIN KAKANIAS WAS BORN IN ATHENS, GREECE BUT TOOK HIS STUDIES TO PARIS, WHERE HE LEARNED ART AND FASHION. HE IS A CONTEMPORARY ILLUSTRATOR AND MULTIMEDIA ARTIST WHO STARTED HIS CAREER WORKING AS AN ILLUSTRATOR FOR NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES SUCH AS: FRENCH VOGUE, VOGUE ITALIA AND VANITY FAIR. HE ALSO DESIGNED FABRICS FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS FASHION HOUSES OF YVES SAINT LAURENT AND CHRISTIAN LACROIX.

KONSTANTIN HAS BEEN EXHIBITED AROUND THE WORLD IN MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES, AND HAS ALSO BEEN PUBLISHED IN SEVERAL BOOKS. HE IS NOW A CONTRIBUTING EDITOR FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES STYLE MAGAZINE AND WORKS ON COMMISSIONS AND COLLABORATIONS WITH LUXURY HOUSES INCLUDING CARTIER, DIOR, FREDERIC MALLE, DIANE VON FÜRSTENBERG, NARS, ORLEBAR BROWN.
